Community Supported Agriculture

Farms across America are switching to a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) economic model, where their customers pay a seasonal subscription service and receive a box of food every week through the growing season.  This has enabled farmers to earn a more stable and reliable income while enabling Americans to re-establish their connection with agriculture.

Mississippi Ecological Design is developing a true community based agriculture and is seeking active participants.  I offer a service where I cultivate a garden in your own backyard, and provide you with produce from your own land and produce from other participants in your neighborhood.  Anyone interested in fully participating as a grower can also join to trade and we will facilitate the exchange of goods to provide a diverse array of food items for all participants, whether growers, buyers, or somewhere in between.

Participants who prefer to harvest directly from their garden and not trade within the community are not obligated to participate in the exchange.
